What is Love Anyway?

why do you choose to love?

in the hope of receiving a little back?

oh …..

but, i’m not so sure that’s how it works

love is like an ocean

when we are children

it is enormous

quite challenging

and so we learn to

swim

navigate the waves

go further

but still

we fear the ocean may hurt us

the depth

the unknown

the uncertainty

love holds

no responsibility

love is responsibility

love is your innermost longing

love is your essence

if you know this love

you can enter the ocean

swim

deep and far

without fear

become courageous

enveloped

as you know

there is nothing to fear

because love is

boundless

love is one

you are the love

you always were
